HOW TO GET STARTED We will now take you through the various procedures, from how to get started to several questions and answers:
Q: Do I have to pay a wedding deposit? when? how much? A: Once all requirements are clear and agreed, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit of your wedding ceremony and dinner. This payment can take place through a credit card or bank transfer. When rooms are booked, there will be an automatic 10% deposit charge in order to secure the booking. All bookings require a valid credit card details and authorization.
Q: How private is the wedding venue? A: Beach – As the wedding event is on the beach we may have some in-house guests discretely looking at the event. However, on the beach we don't have vendors nor outsiders.
Q: Do you have a special group rate for us? A: Certainly. Our group rate applies for a booking with more than 10 rooms. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Q: What is your wedding package cancellation policy? A: Cancellation: 90 days before the wedding date – no charges. Cancellation: 60 days before the wedding date – 50% charges. Cancellation: 30 days before the wedding date – 100% charges
Q: Can I change or remove some items from the wedding package? A: We normally allow a few changes or deletions of the package items. However, the package price would not be discounted. Any package items that are unwanted may be substituted for other items or services of equal or lesser value.
Q: What happens if it rains on the wedding day or during the ceremony? A: In case of rain during the ceremony we'll move the event in a covered area, under a large tent. However, and depending on the type of rain/wind, we may need 60 minutes for the transfer of chairs, flowers, etc. Our staff will also prepare umbrellas for the couple and guests.
Q: What is nationality of the Master of Ceremony? Does he/she speak English? A: Yes, we have two Master of Ceremony (wedding conductor) from USA.
Q: When do we have to pay the additional balance and/or charges such as food, drink and etc.? A: The additional balance can be paid on arrival or a couple of hours upon check-out together with all other charges. We recommend to check your guest folio the night before your departure date.
Q: What will happen once we fill up the form with our wedding request? A: Once we receive your requests from the official the wedding form, our wedding coordinator will give you the final wedding schedule and detailed summary of the wedding.
Q: When do you suggest is the best time to get married? A: The best time to get married is from middle of November to March. The average temperature is around 28C to 32C and there is very little chance of rain. April and May are the hottest months of the year. The temperatures range from 30C to 38C. From June to the first week of November, it is a rainy season. However, there are always good chances of beautiful blue skies. Most of our weddings are symbolic, however, in case of a legal wedding request, please see below some tips:
Q: Could you tell me the paper work process of an official registration? A: Go to your embassy in Bangkok by yourself to get a certificated letter (Affirmation of freedom to marry (UK) / Statutory declaration (AUS, NZ)) *All Embassies are located in Bangkok. (The consular section is open between 8:00-11:00 and 13:00- 15:30 Monday-Thursday and 8:00-12:00 on Friday. There are a number of companies we can recommend to you.
Q: Could you tell me the paper work process of an official registration? A: Bring those documents to the hotel, at least 3 days prior to your wedding date, we will then bring your documents to the local district office (Amphur) where your paperwork will be endorsed, verified and submitted to the Registrar. An officer from the local district office will come to the hotel on your wedding day for the registering process. They will present you with your marriage certificate. Once you have signed the certificate, you are officially authorized under Thai law as husband and wife. If this whole process is not complete, you will not be able to lawfully use the Thai marriage certificate in your country.
